The call to action is the next in a series of consultations that seeks the views of all those who are involved in the delivery or receipt of primary care disciplines

A card arrived on my desk this week, inviting me to a meeting to discuss the NHS England 'call to action for improving eye health and reducing sight loss'.  I gather this local event will be one of a series of national meetings, but I wonder if it is clear to everyone exactly why this could be a significant initiative?

To facilitate this a number of questions are posed that will encourage people to think about what the issues are and what potential solutions they would like to put forward,  however there is the opportunity to  offer any other ideas that  would be helpful in developing the strategic approach for the commissioning of eye health services.
