As a regulator, it is vital that we always make decisions based on solid evidence.

And that means listening – to patients, key stakeholders and practitioners. We can’t regulate effectively without listening to the people we regulate.

We would not have been able to make the changes we made to Continuing Education and Training in 2013 without listening to our registrants. Feedback from our stakeholders and more than 1,000 registrants who replied to our survey helped us to refine the new scheme. It was a similar story for our new standards that came into effect on April 1.

With the importance of listening in mind, at the moment there are two areas where we’d like to hear from you.
