View from the GOC: 'Your response has been great'

Throughout the 2013-15 CET cycle, we’d heard good things from registrants about how they were embracing the changes we’d made to CET. But still, with a series of new requirements in place, we wondered if come December 2015 we’d be removing more practitioners from our register than usual for failure to meet their CET targets.

In actual fact, the opposite happened. We removed only 160 people for not meeting their requirements, the lowest number ever at the end of a CET cycle. When you consider we have over 20,000 fully qualified registrants, it was a great reflection of their dedication and professionalism that so few missed the target.
