I am one of those people who love change, and one thing I love about being a practice owner is that I can proactively make alterations as soon as I feel that a change is called for. A great example of this happened to me just a few weeks ago when one of my favourite patients came in for a reglaze.
On this occasion, he wanted me to fit new varifocal lenses into a sunglasses frame purchased from a large multiple a few years ago. When I asked if he was sure about having clear lenses in such a large frame, he told me that he really liked the frame, and anyway: ‘They’re just for me to wear in the car so it doesn’t matter so much.’
