3D printing: A Yuniku test

Late last year Optician road-tested the Yuniku facial scanning system from Hoya. As one of the most significant developments in lens dispensing, Optician thought it prudent to spend some time with the frame that the Yuniku platform had provided.

The process was undertaken at Armstrong and North Opticians in Thornbury. The investment the practice has made in Yuniku is significant, but the intention is that it will be used among its practices as a centrepiece to highlight that the group is at the forefront of technology. This service will even include transferring patients from other practices to the Thornbury location for the consultation.
