CPD: In with the new

The new MyCPD portal on the GOC website is due to launch on January 17 this year. As described in a recent GOC webinar (figure 1), the first thing you will need to do to proceed any further is to answer some questions about your scope of practice and then to complete an initial personal development plan (PDP). Though this has been something we have previously been encouraged to undertake under the enhanced CET scheme, in the new world of CPD, creating a focused and relevant PDP will assume greater significance as it is against this that ongoing activity and peer to peer performance discussions will be reflected.
