Practices in Chester aim to provide their patients with all the eye care support they need. Luke Haynes reports

Guarded by approximately 3km of sandstone wall, Chester is a historic city in the North West of England holding many treasures. The settlement was founded by Romans in 79AD, yet William the Conqueror had the greatest influence on the city, commissioning Chester Castle and naming Hugh d’Avranches as earl. Today, the city’s colourful past attracts thousands of visitors, with many spending time exploring the first century amphitheatre or the magnificent medieval cathedral.

‘Chester is a beautiful city with a brand-new theatre and arts centre. There are a lot of tourists that visit the city and a varied mix of locals,’ Huw Moffatt, ophthalmic director of Specsavers Chester, says.
