Mike Hale visits Maui Jim at the recent Wentworth golf tournament

The BMW PGA Championship is the current moniker for an annual professional golf tournament held at the heralded Wentworth course in Surrey. Recent winners include Rory McIlroy and Luke Donald and this year’s edition, held on May 25-28, saw Sweden’s Alexander Noren taking home over €1m in prize money for finishing two shots ahead of the field.

Among the sponsors of the tournament are Hawaiian sunglass company Maui Jim. Despite being predominantly a lifestyle brand Maui Jim is increasingly associated with sports through its sponsorship of golf and tennis with high profile professional athlete brand ambassadors.
During the tournament Maui Jim runs an event that sees attendees benefit from a coaching clinic from top pros Robert Karlsson and Renato Paramore, both Maui Jim ambassadors.
