BCLA has established a new programme that focuses on clinical skills for ocular surface health and dry eye

The British Contact Lens Association has established a new CET-accredited programme that focuses on clinical skills for ocular surface health (OSH) and dry eye.

More than 200 eye care practitioners have signed up to the programme, which will allow BCLA members to gain CET points while obtaining a dry eye certificate or a higher level to lead a BCLA fellowship.

Free for all members, the course is a response to what the BCLA see as the “changing face of the profession” following the Foresight report and other research emphasising the need to increase the scope of optometry and contact lens practice.
