23° Eyewear: Mineral lenses
Author: Yiannis Kotoulas
Newly launched Italian brand 23° Eyewear has announced the release of its first collection featuring five iterations of Barberini mineral lenses.
The company explained that all of its lenses included filters, layered anti-reflection, colour and mirror coatings as well as polarisation. Additionally, each lens is finished with Clearseal, a hydrophobic treatment that prevents fingerprints and dust.
The Terrenial lens has been created for everyday life in the city and features a brown tint that creates high colour definition and a more vivid environment for the wearer in changing light conditions.
Redessence lenses, in contrast, have been designed for active wear and outdoor activities. They provide high contrast and aid the wearer in identifying distant details in a landscape dominated by green and blue hues.
The collection was launched in Italy in April and will soon be available across Europe, said 23° Eyewear.
