Aura Air: Anti-viral filtering

Aura Air UK has released a combined air filtration and disinfection system for use in practices as patients begin to return.

The unit has a small footprint and has been designed to hang on the ceiling above the patient, ensuring the optimum extraction of aerosol droplets. Aura Air UK claims that the unit will purify a 60m³ room, passing the total air volume through the filter six times per hour.

Featuring a system of three filters, the device utilises a copper impregnated HEPA filter, a sterioniser that releases viricidal oxidants and a traditional UVC LED. These three systems ensure air disinfection with the unit’s carbon layer absorbing bad odours.
