Sports eyewear producer Bollé has extended its winter sports product portfolio with the release of the Nevada goggle, featuring the company’s new Phantom photochromic lens technology.
Developed in partnership with Essilor Sun Solution, the goggle’s Phantom lens benefits from several key technological developments.
The 50% polarised lens is constructed from NXT, chosen for its combination of light weight, high impact resistance, complete UV protection and most importantly, optical clarity.
Photochromic performance is boosted by a new molecular structure that allows for a wide range of visible light transmission, which the company says ensures precise visual acuity in all conditions and speeds up tint time – changing from Cat 1 to Cat 3 in less than 30 seconds.
The goggle features cylindrical frameless construction to improve aesthetics and field of view. In addition, the Flow Tech venting system and anti-fog treatment eliminate fogging, even under extreme use.
