British designer chooses red pill

British eyewear designer Tom Davies has been officially revealed as the creator of the eyewear in the new release in the Matrix film series; The Matrix Resurrections.

Davies has supplied over 200 bespoke pairs of eyewear for the film, including those worn by leading characters Neo and Trinity. He also designed an updated version of the iconic nose-clip sunglass frame worn by Morpheus.

Davies’ work with The Matrix Resurrections followed previous work for other Hollywood releases and celebrities such as Ed Sheeran and Heston Blumenthal.

‘The glasses worn by the characters in The Matrix series are a key element of each look, so this was the most creatively challenging Hollywood commission I have ever had,’ he said.
