Cardiff DO erased

The GOC has decided to erase Lee Purdy from its register

The GOC has decided to erase Cardiff-based DO, Lee Purdy, from its register following a fitness to practise hearing.

Purdy’s fitness to practise was found impaired by reason of misconduct in relation to processing false transactions and removing approximately £3,755 from the till for his personal use.

The Committee considered the less severe punishment of a suspension order but found that Purdy had demonstrated limited insight into his dishonest conduct and thus posed a significant risk of repeating his behaviour.

Purdy has until April 16 to appeal his erasure, during which time he is suspended from the register under an immediate suspension order.
