Creative partnership formed

Safilo and Carolina Herrera have signed a five-year licensing agreement for the design, manufacture and distribution of eyewear for the fashion brand.
The global partnership was effective from January 1, 2022 and Angelo Trocchia, CEO of Safilo group, said Carolina Herrera was renowned for its feminine approach and extreme elegance.
‘As we are working to reshape our brand portfolio, Carolina Herrera will reinforce our women’s proposition and represents a crucial step in effectively counterbalancing the recent brand exits,’ Trocchia said.
Emilie Rubinfeld, president of Carolina Herrera, added that its eyewear collection would be an extension of its fashion brand and led by creative director, Wes Gordon.
