Cycling fundraiser for girl whose eye test revealed brain tumour

190-mile bike ride to raise money for charity and a girl who died of a brain tumour

Fundraiser Tim Nash will be taking part in a 190-mile bike ride to raise money for St Helena and a girl who died of a brain tumour after it was discovered during an eye examination.

The charity supported 16 year old Keira Dixon through her illness until her death last November. Nash will be cycling between Hillsborough, Sheffield to Castle Hedingham, Essex, where a summer beer festival will take place on July 17. He had previously worked with Dixon at the festival.

The ride has been scheduled to take five days and will see Nash pass through Nottingham, Melton Mowbray, Peterborough, Cambridge and Haverhill, where he will stop off at Observatory Opticians. The final stop will be The Bell Inn in Castle Hedingham for the festival.
