The Duke of York pays Optos’ headquarters in Dunfermline, Scotland a visit
His Royal Highness The Duke of York paid Optos’ headquarters in Dunfermline, Scotland a visit in order to present the company with a Queen’s Award on July 2.
This is the third time that the company has won a Queen’s Award. This year, Optos won the coveted award for Innovation for the design of its California device, which was developed and manufactured in Dunfermline.
Optos has sold more than 15,000 of its ultra-widefield imaging devices, which includes the California device, to eyecare professionals across the world.
