Ennio de Rigo receives Cavaliere del Lavoro

Ennio de Rigo, chairman of the eyewear company De Rigo, has been awarded the Italian title of Cavaliere del Lavoro.

He became one of 25 Italian entrepreneurs to receive the honour for making a significant contribution to the progress of the national economy.

This announcement follows the eyewear company’s 40th anniversary and establishing Fondazione De Rigo, an initiative for young people experiencing hard times.

De Rigo said: ‘My company has always been like an extension of my family to me, and I am proud to say that, thanks to everyone’s hard work, I have made our name known all over the world, maintaining the values and roots of our family and our community.’
