Eyewear customisation app launched by Silhouette

Silhouette has launched its Vision Sensation app, which could be used on a tablet at all stages of an eyewear consultation from customisation to delivery.

A measuring frame has been specifically designed to ensure patients could easily visualise their look, with a selection of lens shapes, frames and colours available to choose from.

Thomas Beier, director of lenses at Silhouette, said: ‘It will significantly enhance the exceptional service and sales of Silhouette products well into the future. The app is a clear incentive for every optician to offer added value and improve the quality of vision and appearance for their patients.’
