Dutch art movement De Stijl provides inspiration for Face a Face frames

The work of 100-year-old Dutch art movement De Stijl has provided the inspiration for two new ophthalmic frames from French eyewear brand Face a Face.

Born out of a wish to rebuild and reshape a changing post-war society through art and design, De Stijl was founded by the Dutch artists Piet Mondrian and Theo Van Doesburg in 1917.

Paying tribute to the style that manifested graphic lines and vibrant colour-blocking, the two new models, Stijl 1 and Stijl 2 feature minimalist sculptural constructions and powerful blocked hues with subtle pops of contrast.
