Fight for Sight opens applications for vision research

Fight for Sight has announced that its Project Grants Awards and Primer Fellowship call have opened for applications.

The charity will provide funding of up to £60,000 for two people undertaking vision related research for a year, one of the fellowships funded in collaboration with The Royal College of Ophthalmologists. They are aimed at trainee ophthalmologists who want to undertake vision or ophthalmic research fellowships in the future.

Dr Neil Ebenezer, director of research, policy and innovation at Fight for Sight, said: ‘We’re delighted to open the call for our latest funding round. Both funding streams will provide an opportunity for clinicians, scientists and allied health professionals to deliver impactful research. We encourage researchers to apply and take this opportunity to carry out their pioneering research.’
