Fight for Sight’s Project Grant Awards open

Fight for Sight encourages applicants to apply for the Project Grants Awards

Fight for Sight has encouraged applicants to apply for the Project Grants Awards.

The charity will accept research applications that aim to explore sight loss caused by an eye condition.

It has partnered with Health and Care Research Wales for a Welsh grant award and with the Stroke Association to fund research into sight loss linked to strokes. It will also jointly fund an award with Nystagmus Network for research into sight loss and nystagmus.

Head of Research at Fight for Sight Dr Rubina Ahmed said: ‘We’re proud to establish new funding opportunities with both the Stroke Association and the Welsh Government departments. By increasing the funding from £170k to £250k, we want to encourage researchers to take this opportunity to make a difference to patients’ lives by carrying out their innovative research.’
