First fitting from J&J

Britain became the first country in the world to benefit from Johnson & Johnson’s online Fitting Calculator this week.

The calculator helps match its 1-Day Acuvue Moist Multifocal contact lenses to presbyopic patients.

It was designed to quickly match patients to one of the 183 pupil-optimised designs offered by the lens, with the right match found by entering the best vision sphere or subjective refraction, sensory dominance and lowest near add.
