Fleye Copenhagen: Artistic license

Fleye Copenhagen’s second part of its Elements of Art collection

Danish eyewear designer Fleye Copenhagen’s second part of its Elements of Art collection has been released.

The collection features 13 new frames that take inspiration from the architecture and design found in Thorvaldsen’s Museum.

Sonne is a wide-rimmed but slim profiled panto frame with acetate covering the rims, bridge and temple tips. The subtle marble patterning is reminiscent of the sculptures in Thorvaldsen’s Museum and is supplemented by exposed metal on the temples.

Fleye's Apollon

Apollon is a squared frame with curved edges and a wide keyhole bridge. Available in either modernist black or a dull metallic gold, the frames are decorated with colour-matched acetate temple tips.
