FMO offers members support for General Data Protection Regulations

FMO chair Andy Yorke welcomed members to its biannual Members’ Meeting at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry last week, as the group paid special attention to the incoming General Data Protection Regulations.

During the first part of the meeting, FMO’s three focus groups for equipment, frames and lenses met to enable members to share views and decide on priorities.

After lunch, FMO chief executive Bryony Pawinska gave a presentation on GDPR, focusing on key regulations which will affect members. The CEO also addressed some frequently asked questions about the new ruling which comes into force in May and clarified some grey areas of the regulations.
