Firm donates state-of-the-art optical equipment to Glasgow Caledonian University
Topcon GB has donated state-of-the-art optical equipment to Glasgow Caledonian University’s (GCU) vision science teaching unit.
The specialist equipment, DRI OCT Triton, will be used by undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Topcon imaging product manager Tim Cole visited the campus to provide additional training to staff.
He said: ‘GCU is the leading vision science centre in Scotland and it is with great pleasure that we can provide assistance while enhancing the education of students. Through technology we can assist in improving eye care and screening for patients and develop professionals, students and practitioners.’
