GrandVision buys Lenstore

Online contact lens retailer Lenstore has been acquired by Vision Express owner GrandVision for an undisclosed amount.

Lenstore founders Mitesh and Olga Patel will remain with the Guernsey-registered business, which was founded five years ago. Mitesh Patel said: ‘Olga and I are delighted that Lenstore has become part of the GrandVision family. With our shared commitment to outstanding customer service and clinical care, it is an exciting time for us all.’

Lenstore has a same-day delivery service and saw sales grow beyond £5m in 2012.
