Comparisons on how UK optical retail stacks up against the US and Europe will be the topic of Kirk & Kirk managing director Jason Kirk’s talk at Independents Day (iDay) on November 6 at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry.
Programme coordinator Nick Atkins said: ‘Jason has a global view of optical retail and so has a unique insight to share with our delegates.
‘With the vast majority of independents relying on the bulk of their income being derived by retail product sales, we wanted to continue to delve into what being a successful optical retailer means today.’
The event takes place in conjunction with the National Eye Care Group (NEG) conference on November 5, where speakers include Professor Mo Jalie and Ian Cameron.
