Komono commissions art during pandemic to spread positivity

The eyewear company is aiming to create a community during the coronavirus pandemic

Komono has been commissioning the work of young artists and showcasing their digital creations online in order to create a community during the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic.

The eyewear company will highlight a range of digital disciplines including illustrators, filter creators, as well as 3D and video artists.

In a statement, Komono said: ‘We feel it is now, more than ever, important to stand together as a community and spread beauty and positivity. These exceptional times call us to share our platform with some of our favourite artists, long-time collaborators and young creatives, and shine a light on their work.

‘We can enjoy their creativity from the safe boundaries of our own homes. Starting from now, we will present different artists and release their work, showcasing some of our most beloved styles.’
