Luxury eyewear collection launched

Austrian eyewear manufacturer Silhouette has launched its new Atelier collection for 2018, using water buffalo horn for the first time.

The allergen-free and skin-friendly material is being used in conjunction with titanium and 18-carat solid gold to create the rimmed eyewear.

Each of the models are individually designed and 80% of the frames are created by hand.

High-tech titanium works in tandem with horn in the model Titanium Meets Horn for Men, pictured, to create a sophisticated and luxurious frame. Mottled black, grey and brown horn combine with brushed golden or darker hues to create an eye-catching design.

Horn X Art for women displays a smooth and stylish full rimmed frame. A range of mottled colours, including a new horn ivory, produces an elegant design. With either a brushed or polished finish, the frame combines the mottled colours with luxurious yellow, rose or white gold.
