Finnish ophthalmological device manufacturer iCare has launched its newest tonometry product for home use.

The iCare Home2 is a rebound tonometer that allows patients to measure their own intraocular pressure at home without a visit to a clinic or hospital. An update from the previous version, the iCare Home2 has added extra digital features that allow the device to upload its readings and measurements to the cloud so that ECPs can monitor patients remotely. Ease of use features have also been added including a smart bulb that detects accurate placement of the tonometer and instructive sounds for those with visual impairments.
