Mido reassures visitors

Mido said the show will happen in 2022

Organisers of Italian trade show Mido have reassured visitors that its event from February 12-14 at Fiera Milano Rho will go ahead as planned.

It said the pandemic was under control in Italy and there were currently no barriers to international travel that would prevent European citizens, or those from other key markets such as the US, from attending.

Giovanni Vitaloni, president of Mido, said: ‘Although uncertainty is a constant these days, we feel it is our responsibility to support the needs of industry businesses that, over the last two years, have suffered the consequences of the global crisis.’

Mido currently has 600 exhibitors confirmed, which included 350 international companies that were primarily from European countries, such as France, Germany, Spain and the UK, as well as the US.
