Sightcare and ABDO have teamed up for a seminar at Optrafair to support dispensing opticians and optometrists interested in opening their own optical practice at some point in their career.
An initial ‘Thinking about opening your own optical practice?’ seminar held by the groups in London attracted 25 entrepreneurial DOs and optometrists, and now the seminar will be held at Optrafair on Sunday, April 15.
Sightcare chief executive John French said: ‘Opening one’s own optical practice is a big step to take in one’s career. Along with the many advantages it brings there are challenges and a whole lot of responsibility. Sightcare is delighted to be working with ABDO to support ECPs who have the vision to take on these challenges.’
