The organisers of Opti, Germany’s largest optical trade show, have announced that the event will return to its usual slot in 2023.
A statement said that the event ‘will once again be held in its usual spot at the start of the industry’s year, from 27 to 29 January.’
Opti 2022 has been postponed from its original dates in January until May 13, while the planned 2021 show in Stuttgart was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
A statement from organisers GHM added that the 2023 show would represent the establishment of Opti’s permanent home in Munich after the brief consideration of a venue in Stuttgart.
Klaus Plaschka, GHM managaing director, said: ‘Over the past few years, Muich has proven itself an excellent choice for all those involved and we are delighted to bring the trade fair back to Munich for good.’
