Optical practices urged to promote the importance of sight tests

Optical practices have been urged by the Optical Confederation (OC) to promote a road safety campaign highlighting the importance of sight tests for safe driving.

As part of Road Safety Week, the campaign will focus on six elements to make roads safer – with sharp vision as one of the vital checks for drivers.

The week, which takes place from November 21-27, is co-ordinated annually by road safety charity Brake and involves thousands of schools, organisations and communities each year.
