Optika Opticians celebrates 15th anniversary

Optika Opticians in Weston-super-Mare is celebrating its 15th anniversary by offering the first 15 patients who purchase in-store on Valentine’s Day a £15 voucher to spend at the practice.

The independent, which is part of the Hakim Group, was founded by husband and wife duo James and Alison Harwood in 2005.

Speaking about the practice, optometrist Alison Harwood said: ‘One of the best things about working at Optika is still seeing patients who came to us as children, who are now grown up and bringing their own family members. We’re a family practice in more ways than one.

‘Delivering care to this town over these decades has been an honour and a privilege, but this practice could not have achieved such longevity without the incredible efforts of our staff members over the years. Reaching this milestone as an independent is difficult in this day-and-age, so we feel this achievement should rightly be celebrated.’
