Optometry Scotland pledges support to Visibility Scotland

Visibility Scotland will be supported with fundraising events this year

Optometry Scotland will host a series of fundraising events this year to help Visibility Scotland achieve its £20,000 fundraising target.

The charity is challenging 20 businesses and organisations to each raise £1,000 in order to mark its 160th anniversary.

David Quigley, chair of Optometry Scotland, said: ‘We are excited to help Visibility Scotland meet its target which will help ensure its services continue to be available to those who need them. The Optometry Scotland team will be thinking up creative ways to raise funds over the course of the year.’

Visibility Scotland offers support to people living with a visual impairment and their families across the country.
