OSA targets sustainability

​The Optical Suppliers Association held its first Sustainability Committee

The Optical Suppliers Association (OSA) held its first Sustainability Committee meeting on July 23.

The Association, formerly known as the Federation of Manufacturing Opticians, discussed environmental issues such as recycling, reducing wate and the manufacturing sector’s carbon footprint.

Chairman Stuart Burn chaired the meeting. He said: ‘This is a vital piece of work for all our members to get behind. We all have a duty to reduce the negative impacts we impose on our environment and give our generation and future generations a pathway to sustainability.’
