Funding calls for Scottish optical assistant course
There is still time to apply for funding towards a Scottish optical assistant course provided by Insight Optical Training.
The Levels Five and Seven certificate courses in Optical Care will start in April, with examinations taking place in December. Places on the Levels Five and Seven courses are part-funded by the NHS and cost £200 and £250 respectively. The distance learning course is supported by three one-day workshops held at Stirling University that are included in the course fee.
Insight Optical Training was appointed by NHS Education for Scotland to run the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework certificates.
