Patrick & Menzies acquires fourth Essex practice

Essex-based independent Patrick & Menzies acquired Piper and Priem on Manningtree high street after previous owner Stephen Priem decided to reduce his hours before retiring.

Patrick & Menzies opened its fourth optical practice on September 21 and added to its existing sites in Braintree, Brightlingsea and Mersea.

Dan Edwards, partner and dispensing optician at Patrick & Menzies, said: ‘As a proudly independent optician, Patrick & Menzies has been looking after people’s eyes for more than 30 years.
