The BCLA's new president presented on adapting post-pandemic

Neil Retallic used his first address as president of the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) to explore how practitioners can adapt in a post-pandemic world.

Menicon’s global professional services manager took over from Indie Grewal as president after the BCLA’s annual general meeting on September 9.

His presentation was titled ‘The person behind the contact lens – through a pandemic and beyond’ and looked at how to relate, influence motivate and maximise success for patients.

‘The pandemic has given us an opportunity to think differently and reflect on how we utilise technology as eye care professionals, to keep pace with the evolving needs and behavioural changes of our patients,’ Retallic said.
