Bolle backs Tour de France team AG2R with Shifter sunglass

Bolle celebrates 60 years of cycling eyewear with Shifter and AG2R La Mondiale at this year's Tor de France

Bolle celebrated 60 years of cycling eyewear at the Tour de France by supporting the AG2R La Mondiale pro cycling team with its Shifter sunglass. Shifter has a retro-futuristic design which calls on the looks of its famous 1980s Chrono Shield model. Bolle started its association with the Tour in 1958 the same year as it introduced its first cycling model.

Shifter features a large NXT shield which provides protection as well as distinctive looks and offers a wide field of view. Airflow is optimised to reduce fogging and the lens is coated to repel dirt, smudges and moisture. The fit utilises a curved temple to match the contours of the head and fit the requirements of helmet straps, it also enables more of the temple’s hydrophilic rubber coating to be in contact with the wearer. Shifter also uses Bolle’s Thermogrip nosepad to further enhance grip. Lenses come in a range of tints and prescriptions between +6 and -8 can be catered for.
