Silverberg takes home Echo award

Silverberg Opticians has won Retail Team of the Year at this year’s Echo Retail Awards.

The awards were open to all businesses across Liverpool city centre, with the dinner and ceremony held at the Titanic Hotel. Former apprentice at the practice Jess Kelley was also shortlisted and highly commended in the Star Employee category.

Practice manager Ian Silverberg said: ‘The team is so important to me, and should be to anyone in modern retail and especially optics. A customer’s journey in an opticians often isn’t a quick transaction. From booking your appointment, arriving on the day, seeing the optometrist, a dispenser afterwards then finally collecting your new spectacles, there’s a good chance you’re going to see a few members of our team.’
