​Oxsight’s smart glasses are shortlisted for the Technology for Good award

Oxsight’s smart glasses have been shortlisted for the Technology for Good award at the National Technology Awards (NTA).

The award celebrates organisations which are using technology to improve people’s lives. Oxsight’s smart glasses were shortlisted because they enhance the remaining vision of blind and visually impaired people. They help people with peripheral vision loss by using augmented reality and image interpretation technology to enhance remaining vision.

David Quigley was one of the first people in the UK to use the device. He said: ‘One of my best moments was sitting in the church and being able to see my niece’s face on her wedding day.’
