Somerset opticians scoops top customer service award

Bowen Opticians has won the Service Excellence Award at the 2018 Somerset Business Awards.

The Weston-super-Mare based practice took home the award that recognises customer service that goes over and above normal industry expectations, with clear strategies for maintaining high levels of service.

Fiona Bromfield, director and optometrist at the practice, and Steph Bowen, manager and dispensing optician, accepted the award at the ceremony held on October 19 at the Wellsprings Leisure Centre in Taunton. Bromfield said: ‘This is a great achievement. Excellent customer service is at the heart of what we do, so to have won such a prestigious award is testament to our hard work.’
