Spec-Care fits high PD frame

Exeter-based Spec-Care Ltd recently provided a custom-made frame for a patient in Botswana with a pupillary distance of 80 and a head width of 120.

Commissioned for their expertise in fitting frames for patients with special facial characteristics, Spec-Care constructed the custom frame from stainless steel and fitted a custom bridge alongside low set temples that offset a lower, flatter nasal fitting.

Spec-Care’s custom frames were then sent on to Johannesburg where they were glazed and delivered to the patient’s clinic.
