Specsavers supports Blind Veterans campaign

Specsavers and Blind Veterans UK have partnered to encourage veterans to check if they are eligible to receive support from the charity.

The charity said it knew there were thousands of people who needed support to rebuild their lives after sight loss and the multiple would help find them by supporting a campaign.

Noeline Charlesworth, South Wales, joined Blind Veterans UK after she was diagnosed with wet and dry macular degeneration. ‘They give you so much support both physically and emotionally, it is life changing. Go out there and grab Blind Veterans UK by the hand and don’t let them go,’ she said.
