On the road with CET

Specsavers’ ‘MiniPAC’ hits the road in the UK

Specsavers’ ‘MiniPAC’ has been hitting the road in the UK, with over 25,000 CET points provided to 2,000 practitioners this year.

The roadshow started in 2014 as a way to offer more conference days alongside the annual Professional Advancement Conference (PAC) and has grown to include resources for different practitioner groups.

Twelve locations were visited between March and May, attracting up to 300 attendees at some venues. Specsavers provided three days of free CET sessions as part of its presence at Optrafair, which it plans to expand on next year.

The main PAC event is on October 21, with booking opening at the start of September – and is open to any qualified professional in the UK regardless of employer.
