Two new board members for Thomas Pocklington Trust

Adam Youatt and Louise Robertshaw join the charity

The Thomas Pocklington Trust (TPT) welcomed Adam Youatt and Louise Robertshaw to the board, and bid farewell to long-term contributor and deputy chair, Jenny Pearce.

Youatt’s background in property law will be an asset to its portfolio management, while Robertshaw will bring experience in marketing, brand strategy and communications to enable an objective look at areas for improvement, according to TPT board chair Mervyn Williamson.

Robertshaw, pictured, said: ‘I believe the charity’s focus on employment, education and engagement is absolutely key to breaking down the barriers blind and partially sighted people can face when trying to live their daily lives.’

Williamson thanked Pearce for her 10 years of service, and said she was instrumental in its focus on education, employment and engagement, and has been at the forefront of safeguarding work and the sector’s rehabilitation group.
