Moneo: Time members held our organisations to account

The start of a new year is always an opportunity to look at things in a new way. Who knows what the coming 12 months will bring? As ever I spent a little time over the Christmas and new year break reviewing what I had achieved in the previous year, and deciding whether I had achieved the things I set out to do. For some reason this caused me to reflect on the annual reports of our professional bodies.

Normally at this time of year it is customary to read the pronouncements from the great and good of the profession as to what they feel lies ahead and their hopes and aspirations for the coming year. But nowhere do I ever remember seeing these people mention how they see their hopes and aspirations being monitored to see if they have been achieved.
